How To Braised Beef Brisket

Cook yummy beef brisket to tender perfection.

INGREDIENTS

210 mins  3 servings   540 cals 

1 1/2 lb beef brisket
1 cup white onion, chopped
1 cup carrot, chopped
1 cup celery, chopped
1/2 bulb of garlic
1/2 tsp nutmeg, grated 1 stick cinnamon 1 1/2 L hot water Salt TT Pepper TT

DIRECTIONS

Preheat the oven to 300˚F.
Start by seasoning the meat well. Place in to a little of olive oil and brown on all sides.

How To Braised Beef Brisket

Make a tasty broth to flavor the meat into the dish, add chopped onions, carrots, celery, garlic, cinnamon, and nutmeg.  

 

Pour in hot water, bring to the boil and cover tightly, transfer the dish to the oven and cook for 3 hours.

 

Serve this beef brisket with red wine sauce and any kind of potato.
